• Special professional Japanese Hedge / Shrub Shears made by Okatsune in Japan. Made of high quality Izumo Yasuki Steel, the cutting edges are very sharp & cut nicely. Excellent for topiary boxwood & hedges, & other various garden tasks such as trimming, shaping, thinning, etc. The shorter length handles are made of Japanese White Oak & measure 19″ long. Includes vinyl sheath for blade. No. 205 Okatsune Model.   Made in Japan.

Therefore, it is important to try and keep your carbon steel blades away from moist or damp environments as much as possible. It is also a good idea to occasionally wipe the blade with a light oil, such as mineral oil from time to time. It is also a good idea to wipe the blade dry after each use.
