•  These Bonsai Kobu-Kiri Hasami Knob Cutters 210 mm are designed for removing trunk knobs & roots. The head is shaped like a ball, they produce a hollow, circular cut that heals quickly & with a minimum of scarring.  Made in Japan.

     High carbon steel is tougher & harder than stainless steels, making it ideal & desirable for applications where durability is required & where frequent regrinding is needed. Carbon steels are more durable & have razor-sharp edges, & is easy to re-sharpen as well when the need arises.

Therefore, it is important to try and keep your carbon steel blades away from moist or damp environments as much as possible. It is also a good idea to occasionally wipe the blade with a light oil, such as mineral oil from time to time. It is also a good idea to wipe the blade dry after each use.
