• This Beechwood plane is an all-purpose Japanese block plane made by Kaneken in Japan. Called the “Sunday Man”, this plane is a good basic Japanese block plane for the DIY weekend workers. The blade is 1-3/8″ wide (42 mm). The plane is available in two sizes 7-1/8″ Long (180 mm) & 8-1/4″ Long (210 mm).   Made in Japan.
