Heavy Duty Woodworking Vise, 9″, Plain Screw and “Toe-in” Feature

The Groz Heavy–Duty Woodworking Vise is manufactured from a durable close-grained grey cast iron that securely holds wood in place. The precision-machined housings enable smooth sliding movement, while the Steel main screw has Buttress threads for smooth, accurate and responsive adjustment. The solid steel guide rods are accurately fitted to reduce wear and tear and give the vises a smooth and true parallel action that is free of side or cross deflection.

The jaws are equipped with a “TOE-IN” feature that ensures that when fully closed, the jaws meet only at the top to provide even clamping on the full depth of the workpiece. This vise is a simple integration and tool for large-sized jobs for carpenters and woodworkers, as the square body makes it easy to fit under the bench so that the jaws are flush with the bench top.
