•  This razor sharp Stub Sloyd Knife has a shorter blade than the original Flexcut Sloyd Knife. It is a great knife for whittling, marking, spoon carving, general woodworking & handicrafts.  2-1/2″ long blade.   Made in the USA.

     Special details of the Sloyd Knife Blade

     •    The Sloyd Knife’s versatility allows you to use it for a wide range of wood carving projects from detail work to roughing. Use it to shave bark or use its fine tip for eyes, noses, mouths, hair, facial details, & accent parts on caricatures and animals. The 2-1/2″ blade is thick along its spine & the core is made of high-carbon steel which results in a very hard edge for superior edge retention. For added strength, the tang of each knife extends completely through the handle. There’s no flex in the blade – which makes it sturdy & extremely reliable. The rigidness & size of the blade allows for deep cuts & markings. The handle is made of beautifully conditioned cherry hardwood.
