• The Estwing Shingling Hatchet is a great quality hatchet designed to cut wooden shingles or shakes for roofing. Made of forged American-made steel in one piece, this tool is very durable & tough. The 3 gauge slots will help set the overhang, & or exposure of the shingles. The hatchet also has Estwing’s patented “Shock Reduction Nylon Grip” which will reduce the vibrations from the striking shock. The hatchet also has a little notch in the blade for prying out nails if need be. A high quality & well balanced tool, this is a great roofing hatchet by Estwing. Made in the USA.
