The hammer will cut composite shingles well with it’s sharp retractable cutting gauge & slightly curved face. The shingle gauge depth is adjustable for 4″, 5″ & 5-5/8″ exposure. The hammer also has Estwing’s patented “Shock Reduction Nylon Grip” which will reduce the vibrations from the striking shock.
