Once you have this rosette in your hand, you will instantly tell that it is a quality piece of hardware. This particular rosette is designed for both solid doors, & 2-1/8″ diameter hole modern pre-bored doors (must have the companion #H8873-D style rosette piece, which has two built-in threaded shanks). The rosette is intended for a passage function on doors (non-locking). The excellent craftsmanship used to create these rosettes will produce an addition to your home that will add both elegance & grace!
